KendalSoft offers .NET bespoke software development services in Cumbria and North Lancashire.

 For Interleader Ltd

KendalSoft developed and maintains software to test and configure helicopter landing pad lights and lighting controllers. This PC software communicates with an embedded microprocessor in each device using a proprietary command protocol over either a UHF radio link or a wired connection.   The software automatically detects and configures the communications link. The user can then display device status information, set parameters such as flash colour, and test a device. KendalSoft designed the user interface, developed the software in VB.NET and WPF using Visual Studio, and then rigorously tested the application. This software is now used internationally by helicopter operators to manage their lighting devices. See Interleader and its distributor FEC Heliports for more information on these devices.
